The Project ImAc was presented this year as part of the 2018 GAAD on May 17th at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). GAAD is a global action that has been organised since 2015, always on the third Thursday of May. The TransMedia Catalonia research group, based at UAB and partner in ImAc joined GAAD for the first time this year.
The target audience of GAAD is the communities related to: design, development, research and usability who build, shape, fund and influence technology and its use. While people may be interested in the topic of making technology accessible and usable by persons with disabilities, the reality is that they often do not know how or where to start.
