On 25 March 2020, during the EBU BroadThinking conference, ImAc partners successfully presented the production tools – specifically the web editors – and the ImAc player to the audience. BroadThinking 2020 is a key event for broadcast specialists working on online services and online content delivery and is organised on a yearly basis by EBU (European Broadcasting Union).
Due to the exceptional circumstances because of the COVID-19 situation, the event was completely taken online this year. All speakers presented from their own homes – demonstrations were given timely slots during the two-day conference.
To justify the value of the many details in all ImAc developments, the project’s demonstration team quickly decided to produce a demonstration-video rather than trying to fit a live run-through of the extensive tools in a short timeslot. By doing so, all main features of the production tools on the one hand and the accessible ImAc 360 player on the other were presented in a nutshell to the 100+ BroadThinking participants.
