ImAc featured in the January 2020 Issue of the Research*EU Magazine

The Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS) is the European Commission’s primary source of results from the projects funded by the EU’s framework programmes for research and innovation (https://cordis.europa.eu/). Its mission is to bring research results to professionals in different fields to foster open science, contribute to the creation of innovative products and services and stimulate growth across Europe.

CORDIS has a rich and structured public repository with relevant information about the projects, including the participants, reports, deliverables and links to open-access publications. Likewise, CORDIS produces its own range of publications and articles to make it easier for audiences to find relevant results within their areas of interest. In this context, Research*eu (https://cordis.europa.eu/research-eu/en) is a regular magazine, managed by CORDIS, that highlights the most promising outcomes from projects in a range of domains, with a focus on a particular theme in every issue.

The latest Issue 8 of Research*eu, published in January 2020, includes a Special Feature on “The growing power of media content convergence”. This Special Feature includes an Editorial and seven articles providing an overview and the latest news about the EU-funded projects in that area. In one of the articles, entitled “Immersive narrative experiences for all”, the ImAc project coordinator, Sergi Fernández (i2CAT Foundation), introduced the project, discussed the associated challenges and highlighted the outcomes achieved so far.
