IMAC at IBC Amsterdam this week

Immersive Accessibility Project (IMAC) is developing tools and solutions to translate VR and 360 degree content into multi-sensory experiences for people with sight and hearing loss. Through focus groups and closer collaboration with end users, the IMAC Team is  exploring how traditional access tools such as audio description, subtitling, audio subtitling and sign language can be adapted for immersive environments.

IMAC Player is testing new deployment methods for these access services in immersive environments moving away from the constraints of the current technology, into a hyper-personalized environment where viewers can fully customise the experience to meet their personal needs.

We will be demonstrating some of these tools at IBC. So, if this sounds interesting, please come and see us, we’ll be in  Hall 8, stall B05 (part of the I3 European Media Innovation booth).
